About
I'm Oleh Pavliv — a senior product designer with 9+ years turning complex problems into interfaces people actually enjoy using.
Most recently I was the senior product designer at Doorstead, where I led UI/UX for their property management platform and helped push sign-to-live rates from 25% to 65%. Before that — a mix of SaaS products, indie game design, freelance work, and a lot of self-taught everything.
I care about the craft: interaction design, motion, prototyping, design systems. But I also care about shipping — balancing user needs with business goals, working closely with engineers, and making sure things actually get built. I run design workshops, do user research, and occasionally write code (this portfolio is Next.js + TypeScript).
When I'm not designing, I'm usually building small apps, experimenting with game development in Unity and Unreal, hiking, or drawing.
